Save the date now for the 2009 California Conference on Tourism (COT)! Set for June 22-24 in Newport Beach, this premier event includes travel and tourism professionals from throughout the state, sponsored by the California Travel Industry Association (CalTIA). The 2009 COT includes first-rate educational opportunities, a trade show, several special events and a golf tournament. The conference itself features exceptional speakers who are all experts in their field, and a variety of leading-edge breakout sessions that address timely issues. All education sessions provide plenty of take-away ideas and tools.
The Expo trade show will showcase a variety of business-to-business vendors, all displaying and demonstrating their services and products. The celebration reception and dinner includes the CalTIA awards presentation and a live auction, then the always popular California Tourism Marketing Excellence Awards luncheon follows, sponsored by CTTC.
