RSAA Summit Conference
CTTC Travel Trade Manager Percy Stevens attended the Receptive Services Association of America (RSAA) Annual Summit Conference in New York in February. RSAA provides the opportunity to meet with key operators to introduce the California travel trade kit, build new relationships and expand the exposure of California product. Supplier and receptive tour operator members from across the country gathered for the two-day event that included educational sessions and the popular Summit Marketplace, which provides receptives and suppliers the opportunity to meet for one-on-one 10 minute prescheduled appointments. CTTC met with nine receptive operators, obtaining leads to take back to the industry.
Prepping for Spring Meet
CTTC staff are busy preparing for the 2009 National Tour Association (NTA) Spring Meet, coming soon! Set for June 4-9 in Monterey, Spring Meet is an annual one-of-a-kind event for wholesale tour operators and receptive tour operators in a relaxed atmosphere to conduct business. Each Spring Meet has a litany of educational sessions, motivational speakers and professional seminars/forums. CTTC will be hosting a special wine reception, as well as an exclusive dinner event. Additionally, CTTC has organized fams around the event, covering wine and food country, cruising along the Central Coast and exploring National Parks.
